Based in our Sherman, TX location, you will provide supervision to the maintenance, machine shop, and welding departments and manage the daily workload of direct reports. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Supporting maintenance of the entire facility including management of utilities, HVAC, fire suppressant systems, MRO crib, etc.
- Scheduling and leading preventative maintenance for all machining, assembly, and other equipment located in the facility.
- Project management including preparation of Appropriation Requests, issuing purchase orders, tracking spending, closing out Appropriations Request in conjunction with the Finance department, and creating AutoCAD (or similar) layouts as needed to gain approval for equipment placement.
- Assisting in upgrading existing equipment to safer, more efficient, and productive alternatives.
- Coordinating and managing on-site external vendors such as landscaping, pest control, animal control, computer network installation, roofing, and other services.
- Monitoring site janitorial services, resolving janitorial issues, and recommending contract changes as needed.
- Collaborating with regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA, State/Local Regulators).
- Conducting routine safety observations to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies as well as company environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures and practices.
- Coordinating logistics of on-site events including arranging for seating, tables, air, electrical, and meals.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in facilities/maintenance or engineering
- 2 years of functional supervisory/leadership experience
- Candidates must possess a valid driver license and be eligible to operate a company vehicle
- Experience with hydraulics, PLC logic, HVAC systems, electric, automation robotics, electric motors, and building construction
- Understanding of machining and welding operations
- Ability to interpret maintenance prints and electrical schematics and familiarity with related software, such as CribMaster and AutoCAD, and ability to learn new software
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations pertaining to safety and maintenance repairs
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in technical discipline
- 5 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Prior experience using CribMaster software
