In this impactful role, you'll spearhead sourcing activities for strategic purchases, including metal castings and forgings, across Emerson's North America manufacturing sites. Based in Stafford, TX, you'll play a key part in driving innovation and excellence within a vital category, contributing to Emerson's continued success.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Management of key Casting & Forging Suppliers through conducting periodic suppliers review and building of strong relationship.
- Lead negotiations with key suppliers for long-term agreements (contracts) or cost containment projects.
- Perform a quarterly review of supplier’s SWOT such as overall performance and supply risk.
- Lead the execution of the annual plan and play a key role in shaping the 3-5 year strategic plans for the Casting & Forging Categories, driving sustainable growth and innovation.
- Analyze cost drivers for Metal and Plastics categories, providing market insights to Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Product Management. Standardize price adjustment mechanisms in contracts based on raw material changes.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to leverage global PRM sites, along with Final Controls and Emerson, to enhance collaboration and drive value.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Operations, Technical or Business
- Minimum 5 years functional experience, in one or more of the following areas: Supply, Engineering, Finance or Operations
- Extensive project and change management experience supported by a methodology
- Experience in implementing supplier improvement programs
- Project management experience within multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
- Legal Authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this role
- Good experience in spend analytics methodologies & best practice implementation
- Hands-on experience managing Castings or Forging in a Technical Buyer or Supply Chain-related role is highly valuable
- Experience in e-Sourcing (e.g.: ARIBA) preferred
