We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Safety Manager to oversee safety and quality control measures on our construction projects. This role will ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and client requirements while fostering a culture of safety and quality across the job site.
Key Responsibilities:
๐น Safety Compliance & Oversight
- Enforce OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations on job sites.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and risk assessments.
- Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for site personnel.
- Investigate and document safety incidents, near-misses, and provide corrective actions.
- Ensure all employees and subcontractors adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
๐น Safety Control & Assurance
- Inspect work at various project phases to ensure compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and industry best practices.
- Identify and document non-conformance issues and coordinate corrective measures.
- Conduct material testing and verify compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control reports, checklists, and project documentation.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project deliverables meet quality expectations.
๐น Bilingual Communication & Documentation
- Serve as a liaison between English- and Spanish-speaking workers, ensuring clear communication of safety and quality procedures.
- Translate safety materials, training documents, and quality control reports as needed.
- Assist in conflict resolution and cultural awareness to foster a collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, related field or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in construction safety, quality control, or a related role.
- Experience in Construction and/or Overhead, Electrical transmission, Electrical, Utility construction, High Voltage Electrical Safety, Transmission & Distribution Systems, Utility Pole Safety, or similar area
- Bilingual proficiency in English & Spanish
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety best practices, and construction quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead safety and quality initiatives in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams

Salary : $65,000 - $90,000
