If you are an HVAC professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Chanhassen, MN location, you will operate and maintain all heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment to support environmental conditions throughout the facility.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :
- Work with drawings, specifications, or instructions, to operate and maintain all boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, heat pumps and pneumatic or electronic controls.
- Respond to emergency requests to eliminate unsafe or inefficient conditions.
- Installs new equipment and modifies existing equipment to maintain humidity or temperature levels as required.
- Provide chemical control to chiller and boiler water to ensure efficient operation.
- Use preventive maintenance program to ensure that a wide variety of HVAC. equipment is maintained on a regular basis and kept in good working order.
- Troubleshoot equipment and makes recommendations for replacement or redesign.
- Perform tests to monitor and report contamination levels of HVAC systems or waste.
- Use facility Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document all scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, emergency maintenance, and labor activities.

For This Role, You Will Need :
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
- 1800 hours of Tech School & 1 year of experience or 2 years of trades / maintenance experience
- Must be able to push, pull, or lift over 50 pounds
- Ability to travel between Twin Cities facilities as needed (Shakopee, Chanhassen and Eden Prairie)
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart :
- Minnesota First Class C Boilers License
- HVAC Degree or Certificate
- EPA Refrigerant license
