Based in Sandusky, MI, you will set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.
Typical working schedule Monday – Thursday 6:00a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (4x10’s) to include scheduled overtime on Friday’s and some weekends.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Precision machine operation.
- Manufactures enough quality products at or below budgeted production costs to meet demand.
- Basic blueprint reading and shop math.
- Test and calibrate components and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- The use and operation of fabrication equipment in work centers such as grinding, honing, passivation, assembly and test, lathes, mills, and heat treat.
- Ability to use various oils and chemicals for some machine operations
- Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
- Resolves issues related to the production, machinery, and processing.
- Tests and calibrates components and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.
- Observe established safe working, housekeeping procedures and promptly correct and / or notify supervisor of any hazardous situations.
- All supplemental duties, responsibilities, or non-essential requirements as assigned.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- High school diploma/GED
- Willingness and ability to work required schedule.
- Ability to produce a quality part at a productive rate while working in a fast-paced environment.
- While performing, duties may be required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, bend, twist or lift.
- Willingness and ability to work in a manufacturing machinery environment with conditions and elements including but not limited to high noise, dust, dirt, oil, and grease, chemical products, hand tools.
- Must wear proper PPE required for the role, to include safety glasses, hand gloves, ear plugs and steel toe safety shoes.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of related experience or demonstrated mechanical / machinist / or tooling experience preferred.
