IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE :
Verifies the accuracy of outgoing shipments and orders
Computes duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of product that is exported to foreign counties
Processes US and International paperwork for transaction completeness and accuracy
Ensures that safety techniques are used in all aspects of daily work responsibilities
Receives and reads customer orders to identify the item(s) to be pulled
Fills customers’ orders following specifications on the order form
Package orders using appropriate shipping containers and packaging
Operates standard or automatic machines, such as electronic scales and tape machines
Can work split shifts, when required
Accurately prepares orders for shipment to include secure packaging and wrapping
Responsible for accurate shipments (product and documentation)
Responsible accurate reporting and on-time shipments of customer products as required
Completes other assignments as assigned by management or designate

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED :
High School Diploma or GED
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Minimum of two years warehouse inventory experience
Forklift operation
Strong written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
Must be a self-starter and able to perform without direct supervision
Ability to lift 40 pounds intermittently
Ability to sit and / or stand daily for up to 10 hours
Ability to defer to management when appropriate
