Emerson is looking for a Test and Evaluation Summer Intern for Summe r 2025 to join our McKinney, TX team .We are looking for someone who is interested in gaining real-world experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
As a Test and Evaluation Engineering intern, you will provide technical input and direction to the design and evaluation of new product concepts. You will work in a team environment applying your knowledge of engineering principles and the physical sciences to develop new products.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Design and acquire required test equipment /fixtures from vendors
- Conduct product evaluations
- Setup and complete laboratory testing
- Document tests conducted, results, problems encountered, and the solutions you developed
- Participate in global multi-functional teams, including marketing, designers, manufacturing, sales and procurement
- Complete other tasks as they are delegated

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university working toward a bachelor’s degree in engineering
- High Mechanical proficiency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written.
- Commitment to full-time (40 hour) Summer Internship experience in McKinney, TX from June 2025 to August 2025
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
- Junior or Senior
- Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Aerospace Engineering or Agricultural Engineering preferred.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in a professional environment
