Summary :
The position's primary focus will be preventative maintenance inspections (PMI) and repairs on aircraft ground support equipment to include aircraft refuel trucks, deice trucks, cargo tugs, pickup trucks and passenger vehicles, non-automotive rolling stock and non-powered equipment.
Responsibilities :
The GSE Mechanic is responsible for maintenance and repairs to keep aircraft ground support equipment working safely and efficiently.
- Complete preventive maintenance such as : Engine service and tune-ups, oil changes, replacing filters, lubrication, tire changes.
- Maintain vehicle functional condition by requests for service, conducting operational inspections, repairing engines, mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, replacing parts and components as required to reduce down time.
- Maintain vehicle records and complete required paperwork.
- Working safely in a busy airport environment.
