What are the responsibilities and job description for the FA - Operator IV - Solvents position at Emery Oleochemicals LLC?
Candidates should successfully complete the training and qualification requirements for all operational, quality and safety responsibilities in the Solvents Separation plants. If not already completed, will need to achieve stationary boiler engineer license to operate in the Solvents plants within one year in the role.
Operations - Start and stop process equipment and operations in accordance with production schedules or as required by existing conditions. Monitor process operations and make adjustments as required to maintain product quality, optimize the process or keep the process within safe operating parameters. Make periodic rounds to inspect the process for proper operation, checking for abnormal conditions - take action as necessary to alleviate any issues. Collect periodic samples and use analysis equipment to measure quality parameters.
Safety - Be familiar with all plant safety requirements and perform all responsibilities according to the safety requirements of the plant SH&E manual. Complete monthly safety training and attend all required safety meetings. Participate in Job safety Analysis when required.
Quality - Properly and accurately prepare all paperwork, blend calculations and SAP entries.
Admin - Perform housekeeping each shift to ensure the control room and work areas are clean and safe to work in.
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts, (DuPont Schedule).
