What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stringless Technician position at Emery Sapp & Sons?
We are seeking an experienced Stingless Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with stringless paving, maintaining and calibrating stringless equipment, and performing quality control checks on paving works.
Responsibilities
- Assist with stringless paving projects, including field work, data collection, and quality control
- Work with surveying staff and project managers to develop accurate paving designs and plans
- Maintain and calibrate stringless paving equipment, including Topcon and Trimble systems
- Perform quality control checks on completed paving work
- Assist with recordkeeping and documentation
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field; LSIT certification preferred
- 2 years of experience in stringless paving or related field
- Knowledge of stringless paving technology and software, including Topcon and Trimble
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to travel for this position is required
