We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our staff and oversee the front desk at a busy, high paced clinic. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations and supporting our physical therapists as they help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Position Overview: The position will spend the majority of their time managing front desk duties as well as assisting with patient care and general clinical tasks. The ideal candidate will be customer service-oriented, organized, and eager to contribute to both the administrative and clinical sides of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk:
- Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries professionally.
- Greet and check in patients, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Collect co-pays and process payments accurately.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments- Maintaining a full schedule is the lifeline of the clinic
- Maintain office supplies and order materials as needed.
- Coordinate with insurance companies and our billing team regarding patient coverage and authorizations.
- Ensure a positive and welcoming environment for all patients.
Physical Therapy Assistant:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the therapy area and equipment.
- Support a safe and efficient flow of patients throughout the clinic.
- Assist physical therapists with patient care and exercise plans.
- Help patients during therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Experience in patient care, customer service, or a medical office setting is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations (inpatient, outpatient, geriatrics, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
