What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custom Cabinet Maker position at Emerzian Woodworking Inc.?
Well established, leading manufacturer of custom commercial cabinetry, casework and architectural millwork is hiring additional experienced cabinetmakers/woodworkers. Experience with custom fabrication of fixtures, reception desks, wall panels, exhibits, etc. using wood, particle board, veneers, and laminates in accordance with technical documents is required. Must have excellent understanding of joinery, adhesives, and installation techniques and methods. We seek energetic individuals who are self-motivated, reliable, demonstrate good attention to detail, and are proven team players.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Read detailed architectural drawings, schematics, shop drawings.
- Verify dimensions using a template, caliper, and rule.
- Select proper cutting, milling, boring, and sanding tools for completing a job.
- Prepare and set up machines and tooling for woodwork manufacturing.
- Operate woodworking machines, including saws, routers, and sanding machines.
- Use hand tools to trim pieces or assemble products.
- Ensure that products meet industry standards and project specifications.
Physical Demands:
- Vision abilities require close visual assessments.
- Required to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
- May be required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Moderately loud noise levels in a production environment.
- Work involves walking, talking, hearing, and using material handling equipment.

Compensation Based on Experience
