How you'll contribute
We have an opening for an intermediate level software engineer within our Robotics Group. Depending on your skill set, there are opportunities to contribute to core frameworks and infrastructure, robot interfacing and integration, perception, path planning, high level autonomy, and testing and verification tools
\n- Design, estimate and implement new software components.
- Work with robotics domain experts to ensure high quality implementation and deployment of algorithms.
- Be actively involved with the proposal and planning of new features.
- Work on maintenance and improving software health.
- Engage effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
- Deliver high quality, high performance and well documented code.
- Implement automated tests and develop manual testing procedures as appropriate.
- 3 to 5 years of software engineering experience using modern C .
- Familiarity with software development in a Linux environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A high level of self motivation.
- Exposure to ROS, or other robotics frameworks
- Experience with hardware interfacing or working on embedded systems
- Experience working with git, Docker, CI tools, Python
- Experience with GPU and/or parallel programming.
- Experience in robotics related subjects e.g. SLAM, path planning, control, perception, state estimation
- Exposure to modern software development practices (agile methodologies, continuous integration, etc.
