Key Responsibilities
- Manage the training program and materials for the MBS department.
- Conduct training sessions using different teaching methods.
- Collaborate with leadership to address claims system issues and updates.
- Maintain and update policies and procedures with leadership support.
- Ensure staff meets quality standards through regular assessments.
- Assist Internal Audit with monthly large-dollar audits and findings.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Address questions and research requests from other departments.
- Prepare reports and provide recommendations to management.
- Track and manage claim inventory with leadership support.

- Associate's degree or at least five years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent training and experience.
- Familiarity with claims payment systems.
- Strong knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9/ICD-10, and ADA coding.
- Understanding of medical, dental, and vision benefit terms.
- Knowledge of health insurance regulations (COB, Medicare, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present effectively to small and large groups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Windows.
- Strong ability to motivate and engage employees.
