Job Summary:
EMI Industries LLC is seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Support Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with refrigeration engineering and production staff to ensure seamless product assembly and testing. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining accurate part and tool inventories, providing technical support to customers and other technicians, collaborating with manufacturing and quality departments, and managing escalated issues that require coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Requirements:
- Must hold EPA Universal Certification.
- Have a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and a willingness to travel as needed.
- Exhibit strong technical abilities in the field of electric and refrigeration.
- Display knowledge and comprehensive awareness of UL and NSF standards.
- Be computer literate with a thorough working knowledge of MS Office packages (Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication.
- Display attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work in a demanding, multi-task environment.
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and vendors.
- Ability to maintain and continually improve technical and professional abilities described above, as well as those required to perform the role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HVAC certificate or associate degree.
- 5 years' work experience in the field of HVAC/R.
- Demonstrable understanding and practical knowledge of Thermodynamics.
