Job Title: HVAC Support Specialist Role
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Support Technician to join our team at EMI Industries LLC. As a key member of our refrigeration engineering and production staff, you will play a crucial role in the assembly, wiring, brazing, evacuation, and charging of various commercial refrigeration products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with refrigeration engineering and production staff to ensure seamless product assembly and testing.
- Develop and maintain accurate part and tool inventories to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Provide technical support to customers and other technicians to resolve product-related issues.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing and quality departments to implement process improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of client specifications to provide expert guidance to regional contract teams.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations to assist business development personnel in securing new clients.
- Collaborate with QA staff to develop and implement effective quality control procedures.
- Manage escalated issues that require coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Support other departments as needed to ensure seamless operation of our business.
Requirements:
- Must hold EPA Universal Certification.
- Have a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and a willingness to travel as needed.
- Exhibit strong technical abilities in the field of electric and refrigeration.
- Display knowledge and comprehensive awareness of UL and NSF standards.
- Be computer literate with a thorough working knowledge of MS Office packages (Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication.
- Display attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work in a demanding, multi-task environment.
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and vendors.
- Ability to maintain and continually improve technical and professional abilities described above, as well as those required to perform the role.
