About the Opportunity
EMI Industries is seeking an experienced Woodworking Project Director to join our team in Cranston, RI. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing projects for our custom millwork, metal, and refrigeration products.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively anticipate customer needs and actively and periodically solicit feedback on EMI performance.
- Ensure that all manufacturing divisions are working from the same set of Master Control Color Samples for non-standard finishes (i.e., paint, stains, clears, powder-coats, etc.).
- Identify and solve problems on-site. Use technology to provide real-time progress reports from the plant to the job site and vice versa.
Requirements
- Knowledge or background with woodworking, including design, CAD, shop experience, project management strongly preferred.
- Customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Good organizational skills.
- Proficient basic math skills.
- Ability to work in a demanding, multi-task environment.
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and vendors.
