Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Help with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, maintaining their safety
- Perform light housekeeping duties to keep the client's living space tidy
- Observe and report changes in clients' health or behavior to family members or healthcare professionals
- Encourage clients to engage in activities that promote their well-being
- Prior experience as a caregiver or in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, friendly demeanor
- Ability to demonstrate empathy and kindness to all clients
- Capability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Open to flexible scheduling, including potentially working evenings and weekends
