Main purpose of the Maintenance Handyman role:

Revolve is seeking a skilled Maintenance Handyman with mechanical experience to join our team in Cerritos, CA. This role is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general facility upkeep. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Major Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and infrastructure.
• Handle basic plumbing tasks, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and installing fixtures.
• Assist with electrical work such as changing light fixtures, troubleshooting issues, and minor wiring repairs.
• Conduct carpentry work, including minor framing, drywall repairs, and furniture assembly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, including waste disposal and basic janitorial duties.
• Support equipment upkeep and minor mechanical repairs as needed.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and ensure timely resolution.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Be flexible with schedule changes and work overtime when required.

Required Competencies:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

• Previous experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform hands-on repairs efficiently.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible with scheduling changes and available for overtime as needed. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.

A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly/salary range is $17 to $18.
