Main purpose of the Production Assistant role:

The Production Assistant will play a pivotal role in supporting the Content Team in various capacities throughout the production process for YouTube and social shoots. This will include providing support in pre-production, on set production, and post- production stages. This role will collaborate closely with the creative team to ensure smooth execution and will report directly into the Video Producer.

Major Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

• Provide administrative support to the Video Producer such as scheduling meetings, and coordinating calendars for production teams. 
• Help organize and prepare equipment, props, and supplies needed for shoots. 
• With oversight and guidance from the Video Producer, own the product pull process from start to finish, including consolidating product request, organizing, packing, returns, and managing inventory.
• Coordinate truck runs ensuring timely delivery and assist with loading and unloading equipment, products, and supplies. 
• Assist with day of set operations as needed to help maintain the organization and flow of production. 
• Assist with teardown of set equipment, products, and supplies after shoots to prepare for transport. 
• Coordinate craft services for on set productions.
• Act as a primary point of contact for both the internal team and external vendors, ensuring smooth coordination and execution.
• Steam clothes and wardrobe for shoots, to ensure they are ready for filming.
• Provide additional to the content team at various capacities to ensure the smooth execution of all production tasks.

Required Competencies:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

• An adaptable mindset that thrives in fast-paced, changing environments.
• A positive attitude with a solutions-focused approach to overcoming challenges.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 30lbs of equipment and props to and from sets.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience in Google Sheets, Slides, Docs (or equivalent Apple/Microsoft tools)
• Experience using Airtable or similar project management platform

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience as a production assistant in film, television, or media production
• A degree in film, media production, or a related field

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.

A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly/salary range is $19 to $22.
