• Project Financial Management
• Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and analyze financial performance.
• Prepare financial forecasts and variance reports.
• Ensure accurate allocation of costs to specific projects.
• Billing & Revenue Recognition
• Generate and process invoices based on project milestones and contract terms.
• Ensure revenue is recognized in compliance with accounting standards.
• Track accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Expense & Cost Control
• Review and approve project-related expenses, ensuring compliance with budgets.
• Analyze cost trends and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Compliance & Reporting
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Collaboration & Communication
• Work closely with project managers to provide financial insights and guidance.
• Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and clients regarding financial matters.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification (preferred but not mandatory).
• 5 years of experience in project accounting, construction accounting, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and project financial management.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or Construction ERP).
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
