Position Title : Senior Transportation Project Manager

They are committed to excellence in traffic engineering and creating a positive impact on community mobility and safety. They are currently seeking a Sr. Transportation Project Manager. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of an entire project through budgeting, hiring team members, sourcing suppliers and planning the project release.
Responsibilities :
- Develops standards and guidelines for use throughout the company.
- Keeps abreast of new industry developments, regulations and technologies affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs and applications.
- Anticipates and proposes solutions to unanticipated technical problems.Interprets, organizes, executes and coordinates engineering assignments.
- Acts as external spokesperson addressing project management and technical engineering issues related to a PM's project activities.
- Serves as a project management and technical expert and works with internal partners to address project management issues.
- Provides guiding direction and oversight of engineering engagements.
- Sets direction and goals for technology and / or business line and leads the technology strategy for the individual's area of expertise.
- Modifies established guidelines, devises new approaches, applies existing criteria in new ways and draws conclusions from comparative situations as necessary.
- Provides technical guidance to a modest sized group of engineers, designers and specialists.
- Participates in the project change control process and identifies the need for potential changes.
- Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and substantial adaptation and modification of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria and project management principles.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
