Job Title : Electrical Engineer
Location : Raleigh, North Carolina
Summary :
Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Electrical Engineer will create technical drawings in AutoCAD or Revit, communicate directly with clients and vendors, and provide appropriate designs based on project requirements. The role will involve working independently on most electrical aspects of projects and consulting with senior staff only on more advanced aspects. This position offers an excellent opportunity for engineers looking to apply their skills and grow in a collaborative environment.
Essential Functions :
- Perform site visits to document existing conditions.
- Set up drawing sheets for projects.
- Create technical drawings for electrical and fire alarm designs.
- Perform electrical calculations, complete panel schedules, and NEC demand summaries.
- Develop site lighting photometric and electrical plans.
- Adhere to Kilian Engineering drafting standards for consistency.
- Communicate with clients and vendors to ensure designs meet requirements.
- Make corrections based on red-lined drawings and submit reviews.
- Assist and mentor Project Design Managers and CAD Drafters.
- Other tasks as assigned by senior staff.
