Qualifications
- Classroom management
- Experience with children
- Special education background
- Ability to work with students with diverse needs
- Strong communication and behavior management skills
- Paraprofessional Certification preferred
- Prior experience in early childhood education and childhood development
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in managing classroom activities and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Support students with special needs by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Foster effective communication with students to enhance their understanding and engagement.
- Monitor student behavior and implement behavior management strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with educators to develop and adapt lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Provide care and support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the school day.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $18.50 - $22.75 per hour
