Job Description:

- Total hours: 35-40 hours per week (will include 30-minute unpaid lunch)
Duties
- Assess and manage student health concerns, including acute and chronic illnesses.
- Provide care for students with special health needs, such as those requiring catheterization or dialysis.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate health records using eClinicalWorks or similar systems.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to develop individualized health plans for students.
- Educate students on health-related topics, including hygiene, nutrition, and wellness practices.
- Coordinate care for students requiring inpatient services or referrals to external healthcare facilities.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment while ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license (RN or School Nurse) in the state of California.
- Experience in home community care or clinic settings preferred.
- Familiarity with internal medicine practices and sonography is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support student health initiatives.
