General Responsibilities and Duties:
The Calibration Technician will work under general guidance to calibrate, validate, and test electromechanical instruments and associated equipment.
The successful candidate will , be capable of multitasking and processing multiple instruments at one time. Required to follow work instructions. Capable of using arithmetic formulas, and process/log date. Be highly proficient in the use of hand tools typical I light electromechanical assembly.
Responsibilities:
Apply Quality Control tests and checks to confirm the quality of work.
Calibrate XRF and LIBS instructions.
Skills and Experience:
Entry level and former military candidates are encouraged to apply.
Creative and resourceful problem solving skills for complex electromechanical.
Use of Hand tools and assembly techniques for sensitive scientific instruments is a plus.
Must have the ability to work with computers using Microsoft Office programs.
Must be a hard worker, detail oriented and well organized.
Related experience calibrating analytical instruments is a plus but not mandatory.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Must be qualified to work in the US. without sponsorship.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
