Job Summary:
As a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will be the first point of contact for Biotechn's customers. You’ll manage client orders, respond to inquiries, support sales, and ensure seamless communication between the manufacturing team, logistics, and clients. This position requires attention to detail, professionalism, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and internal CRM systems in a timely and professional manner.
- Process purchase orders, confirm availability, and provide accurate pricing and lead times.
- Track and monitor shipments; coordinate with logistics and shipping partners to ensure timely deliveries.
- Manage customer accounts, update client records, and maintain communication logs.
- Handle order discrepancies, product returns, and complaints with urgency and professionalism.
- Work closely with production, quality control, and sales teams to align on client needs and timelines.
- Provide technical documentation or product information as requested.
- Create quotes, invoices, and follow-up on outstanding payments or documentation.
- Assist in maintaining customer satisfaction metrics and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the operations and sales teams.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 1-5 years of customer service experience in manufacturing, biotech, or scientific industries.
- Familiarity with order processing systems, ERP/CRM software (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, NetSuite).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of basic scientific terminology or experience in biotech/pharma is a plus.
