Job Summary:
Emkat Inc. Staffing and Recruiting Agency is seeking Manufacturing Associates to join our team for various manufacturing clients across the USA. The Manufacturing Associate will be responsible for supporting production operations, assembling products, operating machinery, and maintaining quality standards. This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:Production & Assembly:
- Assemble, inspect, and package products according to company specifications and quality standards.
- Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery and tools.
- Follow work instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings to complete production tasks.
Quality Control & Inspection:
- Conduct visual and manual inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Report any defects, inconsistencies, or malfunctions to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate production records and logs.
Safety & Compliance:
- Follow all workplace safety guidelines, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Participate in safety training and report any hazards or incidents.
Material Handling & Inventory:
- Load and unload raw materials, finished products, and supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist in inventory management and stock control when required.
Team Collaboration & Efficiency:
- Work effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving minor equipment issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimizations.
Qualifications & Requirements:Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly is a plus but not required – training is provided!
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to use hand/power tools.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependability and strong work ethic.
Additional Preferences:
- Experience in industries such as automotive, food processing, packaging, electronics, or metal fabrication is a plus.
- Forklift certification or machine operation experience is a bonus.
