Job Summary:
Emkat Inc. is seeking reliable and hardworking Manufacturing Associates to join our clients’ production teams. As a Manufacturing Associate, you will play a crucial role in the production, assembly, inspection, and packaging of goods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, dependable, and looking to grow within the industrial and manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assemble products or components according to specifications and instructions
- Inspect products for quality and report any defects or issues
- Package finished products and prepare them for shipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
- Assist with inventory control and restocking of materials
- Meet daily production goals and maintain accurate records of output
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
- Perform general labor and support tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
- Willingness to learn new tasks and follow instructions closely
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
