Position Overview
As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by establishing relationships with manufacturing clients. You will focus on B2B sales, primarily targeting manufacturing companies, and provide staffing solutions tailored to their workforce needs. This is a field-based role requiring strong networking, sales expertise, and the ability to set up and manage sales programs using computer-based tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify, prospect, and secure new clients within the manufacturing industry.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in manufacturing firms.
- B2B Sales Execution: Drive sales of staffing services through direct engagement with manufacturers and business clients.
- Lead Generation & Appointment Setting: Schedule and conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Staffing Solutions Consultation: Assess client needs and recommend appropriate staffing solutions.
- Sales Reporting & CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities using computer programs.
- Contract Negotiation: Develop customized staffing contracts that align with client workforce requirements.
- Field Sales & Client Visits: Travel to manufacturing facilities to meet clients and understand their hiring needs.
- Program Setup & Computer Proficiency: Use software tools to manage sales programs, track leads, and process documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in staffing/recruiting or manufacturing-related services.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of staffing agency operations and manufacturing sector workforce needs.
- Technical Skills: Ability to set up and manage sales programs using computer applications (CRM, spreadsheets, and sales tools).
- Sales Ability: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing deals in a B2B setting.
- Communication & Negotiation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with business clients effectively.
- Networking & Relationship Building: Ability to develop long-term partnerships with manufacturing clients.
- Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Ability to work independently and drive sales results with minimal supervision.
- Field Sales Expertise: Comfortable with outside sales and frequent client visits to manufacturing facilities.
