We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Manager to join our team. EMLS is a family owned logistics business in Denton with 25 years of experience in the Denton area. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing all HR functions and ensuring the organization's compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
· Implement and oversee HR policies and procedures
· Manage workers' compensation claims and related processes
· Communicate effectively with employees at all levels
· Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends and areas for improvement
· Utilize HR systems such as ADP for various HR functions
· Administer Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) processes
· Process weekly payroll
· Manage 3 member HR team including HR Generalist and Safety Coordinator
· Oversee employee recruiting
Requirements
· Proven experience in process improvement within an HR setting
· Strong knowledge of HR practices, laws, and regulations
· Efficient with ADP
· Ability to handle workers' compensation claims effectively
· Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels
· Proficient in data collection and analysis techniques
· Understanding of FMLA regulations and compliance requirements
