Job Summary
The Hospice Marketer will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to generate consistent patient referrals to our hospice care services. This role requires an understanding of hospice services, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders in the healthcare community.
Duties
- Build and sustain relationships with key referral sources within the healthcare sector.
- Conduct outreach activities to educate health professionals about our hospice services and patient care philosophy.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless transitions of care for referred patients.
- Monitor and analyze referral trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Participate in community events and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and promote hospice care awareness.
Skills
- Graduate of an accredited college/university is preferred.
- Previous experience in healthcare marketing or sales, preferably in hospice or palliative care.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with diverse groups.
- Knowledge of hospice regulations and best practices.
