Emmanuel College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics position. We seek a dynamic, innovative, and collaborative individual committed to teaching, research, and service in an undergraduate liberal arts environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the department's curriculum in microeconomics, econometrics, and senior seminar, while engaging students in active learning and fostering a diverse and inclusive academic community.
Key Responsibilities :
- Teach undergraduate courses in economics, including principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics, as well as upper-level electives in the candidate's area of specialization.
- Develop and sustain an active research agenda that enhances the department's scholarly profile and involves undergraduate students in research activities.
- Advise and mentor undergraduate students, supporting their academic, professional, and personal growth.
- Participate in departmental activities, curriculum development, and program assessment.
- Engage in service to the college through committee work and collaboration with faculty across disciplines.
- Maintain a commitment to inclusive pedagogy and contribute to the promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the academic community.
