Emmanuel College seeks a visionary academic leader to serve as the Vice President for Academic Affairs / Chief Academic Officer (VPAA / CAO). The VPAA / CAO will provide strategic leadership and direction of the undergraduate and graduate programs to create the vision for academic affairs that is grounded in the liberal arts and sciences history and mission and establishes a path for success for the future. This experienced academic administrator will provide oversight of the five academic schools, working collaboratively with the Deans, to ensure faculty support for scholarship, research and creative activities. The College offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced, strategic administrator with a record of excellence in academic administration, teaching and scholarship.
Job Requirements :
The ideal candidate will have a terminal degree appropriate for an academic appointment at the Full Professor level; a demonstrated record of building and maintaining an atmosphere of transparency and collegiality with a record of consensus building. In addition, the successful candidate will possess significant experience in course and program design, a commitment to diversity, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a record of successful and productive engagement with faculty, students, the professional community and other key stakeholders.
