What are the responsibilities and job description for the Men’s Emergency Shelter Relief Staff position at Emmaus Haven?
The Emergency Homeless Shelter operates 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, second, third, weekends, and as needed. Relief staff provide comprehensive and responsive services to the residents of the shelter, provide shift reports, and support a clean and well-maintained facility. Staff also facilitate social and wellness activities for residents. Experience assessing emergencies and providing crisis support is required, along with excellent communication skills. Must be flexible and able to work independently.
Must have reliable transportation and pass a drug test.
Work Schedule: Various shifts to cover 24 hours a day - 12:00 am – 8:00 am, 4:00 pm – 12:00 am, and/or weekends as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
