Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to assist the Chief Financial and Operating Officer with various financial tasks, including fiscal planning, budgeting, projections, and auditing. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial management software and perform essential bookkeeping duties to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist the CFOO with fiscal planning, budget development, and financial projections.
- Support the auditing process by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- Manage time card submissions and assist with payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation.
- Process bills efficiently, track payments, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Assist in creating and managing itemized location budgets to align with organizational goals.
- Close agency books on a monthly basis, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Maintain organized financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Generate financial reports as needed to support decision-making processes. - Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
- Perform other typical bookkeeping responsibilities, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Degree in related field of study
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Intacct, Bill, or QuickBooks required.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
