Primary Purpose
The Data Science and AI intern will help in research, design, and development of AI systems that accelerate clinical research. They will work in a cross-functional team of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and application developers to ship products with measurable impact on clinical research processes.
Responsibilities
- Generative AI systems development : Design and implement RAG architectures for LLM solutions.
- Model Behavior Analysis : Evaluate AI outputs for relevance, consistency, and tone, and work closely with the team to refine model responses.
- Process automation and optimization : Understanding real world processes to design systems for simplifying, automating, and accelerating these processes using AI and tech enablement.
- Experimentation & Innovation : Build validation frameworks and experiments to achieve continuous improvements in model performance.
- Algorithms Development : Create and maintain reusable code and frameworks that ensure consistency and scalability across multiple use cases.
- Integration & Collaboration : Work with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align AI strategies with business objectives and user needs.
- Conduct research and experimentation : Research AI models to optimize prompt strategies, improve model performance, and stay aligned with emerging advancements in NLP and generative AI.
- Ethical AI Practices : Ensure that outputs meet ethical standards, maintaining inclusivity, diversity, and data privacy compliance.
