Emmi Desserts USA is a leading specialty desserts manufacturer in the US market. As part of the Emmi Group, the largest dairy company in Switzerland, we have a strong presence in New Jersey and New York.
The Head of Cost Accounting plays a crucial role in developing the cost accounting function for our four entities on Long Island NY and New Jersey. This position is responsible for leading the Cost Accounting Team and setting up standard costs, analytical reports, and variance analysis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate entity-wide tasks within the Cost Accounting Team
- Establish a common database to set up and maintain proper cost accounting
- Conduct time-studies on the production floor to gather data
- Determine and maintain standard costs of manufactured goods
- Contribute to Supply Chain cost saving initiatives
- Establish and maintain standard reports to improve transparency on costs and profitability
- Advise the Executive Leadership Team based on collected cost data
- Closed collaboration with Procurement and Operations
- Contribute to the ERP Implementation Project
