Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Emory University Hospital Midtown. As part of our team, you will provide respiratory care to patients in acute, chronic, and emergency situations.
- Perform routine ventilator and artificial airway treatments in critical and general care areas.
- Assist physicians and perform routine and respiratory care activities as necessary.
- Select, assemble, and check respiratory care equipment for proper operation and cleanliness.
In addition to hands-on patient care, Respiratory Therapists are required to accurately and completely document respiratory care by following established charting procedures. You will work with management to formulate plans for professional development.
Requirements
- Graduate of a CoARC-accredited approved school.
- Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) by the state of Georgia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association.
