Emory University and the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor level in the PA Program. This is an academic position requiring teaching responsibilities in addition to part-time clinical work.Responsibilities for this position include : - Engagement in teaching, scholarship, and service activities.- Coordination, teaching, and evaluation in the didactic year curriculum.- Student advisement- Coordination with and support of the clinical year.- Assistance in the student admissions process.- Participate in ongoing program evaluation and planning.- Assistance in meeting accreditation requirements.- Additional responsibilities as assigned by the program director.- Part-time clinical work / service learningQualifications Required : - A Master's degree or higher- Current NCCPA certification- Current GA license or eligible for GA license- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience- Faculty experience preferably in PA education- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
