Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist our
Pharmacy Technician / Home Infusion
procures, prepares, packages, and distributes prescription drugs and pharmaceutical supplies.
DAY SHIFT : 8am- 4 : 30pm
Minimum Qualifications :
Successful completion of an ASHP accredited technician training program or enrollment in a professional-related school preferred. 6 months experience as Pharmacy Technician or completion of ASHP-accredited tech training program preferred. Current CPhT certification through either PTCB or NHA and active Georgia Pharmacy Technician registration, or current enrollment in an accredited School of Pharmacy with a current Georgia Pharmacy Intern license. Must maintain certification and registration through entire length of employment.

Environmental exposures include, but are not limited to : Blood-borne pathogen exposure; Bio-hazardous waste Chemicals / gases / fumes / vapors; Communicable diseases; Electrical shock; Floor Surfaces; Hot / Cold Temperatures; Indoor / Outdoor conditions; Latex; Lighting; Patient care / handling injuries; Radiation; Shift work; Travel may be required; Use of personal protective equipment, including respirators; environmental conditions may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
