  • The Student Conduct Administrator will be responsible for investigating and resolving non-academic misconduct allegations involving undergraduate students and student group behavior. The role includes administration of assigned cases, facilitating alternative conflict resolution options within the conduct process, and assisting with the educational and outreach office initiatives.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Serves as a conduct administrator responsible for reviewing and resolving individual student conduct matters with an emphasis on an ability to meet resolve cases in a fast-paced environment. Assists with the review and investigations of alleged individual and / or student group misconduct including writing and producing quality investigative reports. Serves as a restorative action(s) facilitator for both individual and student group accountability cases. Assists with programmatic office initiatives including ongoing proactive educational events and trainings, 'Know the Code' tabling and workshops, and collaborative event opportunities. Assists with the facilitation of training and outreach to community members including conduct administrators, conduct council student, faculty / staff members, and other stakeholders who serve a role in the individual student conduct and student group accountability processes. Assists with development of educational materials to use for specialized learning opportunities related to student conduct processes, alternate dispute resolution programming, and alternatives to substance abuse and healthy decision making. Assists office with identifying and implementing best practices for individual student conduct and student group accountability. Assists with advising the Peer Accountability Board and / or Conduct Council Panel Hearing(s) as needed. Maintains current knowledge of and implements changes based on university policies and procedures, laws, and best practices related to field. Performs other related duties as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : A master's degree in student personnel, higher education, counseling, or a related field, and three years of higher education / student affairs professional experience, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. At least two years of direct student conduct and / or student group accountability experience. Experience with facilitating various restorative practice / alternative dispute resolution pathways. Demonstrated knowledge of student conduct best practices, higher education legal issues, and student organization misconduct.ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS : This position is eligible for remote work within the State of Georgia. Will be required to come into the office at least once a week This is a time limited, benefits eligible 1 year position (with the option to extend to 2 years)NOTE : This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University location as needed and at times, on short notice. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
