Description
We're seeking a Shift Nurse Manager, Cardiac Cath Lab responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the daily operations of the Cardiac Cath Lab. This individual will be responsible for:
- Supervising staff and facilitating communication with physicians and internal administrators to provide optimal patient and family-centered care.
- Is recognized as a change agent and routinely leads efforts to strengthen organizatonal systems that support the mission, vision, and values of the department.
- Demonstrates insight, judgment, and clinicall sound risk-taking.
- Role models delegation skills to colleages and assist them in effective delegation utilizing the Synergy model for care.
- Incorporates Synergy model for care in nurse/patient assignments.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Two years experience as an RN with a minimum of two years of experience in the area of concentration.
- Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- BLS required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.
- If promoted internally or hired externally, the incumbent must complete UCN/SNM criteria requirements within nine months of promotion or hire, including completion of Enhancing your Communication HLC#6488, completion of formal preceptor training workshop and enrollment in LEAP course.
