Work Location: Atlanta, GA
Description
- Functions as subject matter expert to benefits specialist, employees, and retirees regarding retirement, grandfathered programs, and organizational transfers
- Assists in developing solutions to complex internal administrative and process or system requirements
- Coordinates annual 403b and Pension Audits by assisting auditors with payroll and benefits information
- Works directly with the University Finance Manager and the EHC Benefits Manager to resolve discrepancies and updates processes where needed
- Interprets policy and procedures and assist with updates for all applicable requirements documents for retirement plan provisions
- Leads efforts in retirement process improvement projects
- Designs and deploys retirement and annual enrollment communications and retirement plan educational seminars
- Serves as liaison to vendors to provide information on retirement plans
- Coordinates individual counseling sessions between employees and vendor representatives
- Performs other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field and four years of professional level experience in employee benefits including two working with retirement plans
- Demonstrated customer service and presentation skills. Proficient with MS-Suite of products and PeopleSoft systems and applications
