Description
This is a PRN EKG Tech role. It works on an as needed basis.
- Produces recordings of electromotive variations in a patient's heart muscle using an electrocardiogram (EKG) to provide data for the diagnosis of heart ailments.
- Keys information into a computer system, marks tracings to indicate positions of chest electrodes and transcribes physician's comments onto the tracings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.
