9:30p-8a / Full Time/ 35 Hours
The Emory Decatur Hospital is seeking experienced candidates for the position of Night Pharmacist to add to their team. With the focus on the patient as the primary beneficiary, the role of the Night Pharmacist is to provide leadership, clinical, educational, informational, and distribution functions on the night shift. This includes prioritizing the workload and organizing the workflow of pharmacy technical personnel on the night shift, taking into account available resources. As well as, to identify performance improvement opportunities and make recommendations of ways to improve clinical and distributive services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Georgia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.
- One year of hospital experience and PGY1 residency preferred.
