Description
RESPONSIBILIITES:
- Develops, modifies and maintains computer application software in a 7 x 24 Tier I environment, integrated across multiple platforms and architectures.
- Analyzes existing business requirements to ascertain feasibility, implementation requirements, and performance. Provides detailed programming specifications and documentation.
- Reviews programs for logical sequence and errors.
- Works in accordance with the development guidelines and architectures provided by leadership.
- Advises other application software specialists of possible solutions to work problems. Performs programming, testing, and documentation.
- Recommends redevelopment of application routines needed for the efficient use of computer sources.
- Designs approved routines and oversee their implementation.
- Assists and advises peers in the solution of highly technical and complex problems and solutions.
- Adheres to internal controls and standards established for department.
- Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management or related field and four years of application software development experience OR six years of application software development experience without a degree.
- Must be proficient in at least three computer languages and one development workbench suite currently used in production.
