Join Our Team as a Unit Director!
Have you ever dreamed of being a part of a team that provides exceptional care? Help care for our patients in a unique role as a cross-trained nurse in two distinct units, complex surgery and concierge medicine. On 8E you will be working with chest tubes, epidurals, PCA's, tracheotomies, telemetry, various cardiac drips, and mixing and administering pulmonary hypertension medications. On 6B Rollins, our concierge unit, you will care for a variety of medical/surgical and telemetry patients.
Role and Responsibilities: As the Unit Director, you will:
- Lead and mentor a team of skilled nurses and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of excellence
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cardiovascular nursing and leadership roles.
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and professional development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Master's degree required. Either Bachelor's or Master's degree must be in Nursing.
- Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- Five years of experience which includes three years of clinical nursing and 2 years of nursing leadership.
- BLS required. Some jobs in this classification may require ACLS and Healthcare Provider certifications.
