SUMMARY OF DUTIES : Serve as a general surgeon for the Division of General Surgery within the Department of Surgery with an active inpatient and outpatient practice. Develop clinic practice to provide sufficient coverage and care for LaGrange, GA market. Participate fully in call schedule GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS : Board Certified General Surgeon Successful completion of a 2 year general surgery fellowship in a nationally recognized program A valid, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia A controlled Substance Registration Drug Enforcement Administration Certificate LaGrange is an exciting place to live, with a mild climate, a bustling arts community, restaurants, Sweetland Amphitheatre, The Thread trail, excellent public and private schools, easy access to mountains and beaches, and a busy international airport less than 50 minutes away.
