The Suthar laboratory studies immunity to emerging viral infections. We use in vitro and in vivo models to understand the host and viral factors that control immunity and infection outcome. This position will directly involve supporting ongoing research efforts to characterize vaccine formulations, evaluate immune responses in humans and mice, and determine protection against viral infection. For this position, we are looking for a highly motivated, collaborative, productive and energetic individual who can assist with laboratory assays, cell culture, molecular biology, and various immune assays (ELISAs, flow cytometry, Mesoscale Discovery, B cell analysis). This position requires the ability to lead a project, analyze data and help with writing papers. Previous laboratory experience is desired (2-5 years’ experience), will need to work with mice.

Collaborate. Innovate. Serve. These three simple words capture what we do at EPC to help advance science and improve the health and well-being of humans and non-human primates. If you are someone with laboratory research experience who is familiar with virology and immunology this is an amazing opportunity to indirectly save and change lives and make a positive impact in the science and research community.
